STELLATED DODECAHEDRON 3D FRACTAL

I DISCOVERED THE IDEAS TO MAKE THIS, AND NEVER SAW IT ANYWHERE ELSE, SO MAKING IT WAS MY DISCOVERY.

AS FAR AS I HAVE SEEN, THE ONLY WAY THIS SHAPE HAS COME INTO MATERIAL FORM, OUT OF THEORY, IS MY CREATION, AND 3D PRINTERS.

AFTER CONCEIVING THIS SHAPE COULD EXIST, I HAD TO FIND A WAY TO BUILD IT, AND THIS TOOK MANY FRUSTRATING ATTEMPTS AND IMPERFECTIONS.

IT FEELS TO HAVE A PROFOUND MESSAGE IN IT'S LINES, LIKE MANY PARALLEL PLANES CRIS CROSSING AT PRECISE ANGLES.

ALL THE SYMMETRY IS BASED ON THE GOLDEN PHI RATIO, THE BASIS OF ALL WE FIND BEAUTIFUL AND ALL LIFE FORMS' PROPORTIONS.

GAZING UPON THIS SHAPE CAN PROTECT US FROM UNNATURAL ELECTRIC FIELDS, ADDRESS GRIEF WITH A SENSE OF CREATIVITY, AND CREATE A SAFE PLACE TO FEEL OUR EMOTIONS.

Discovered, created and refined by Adrian Avocado Andrejeff, with his own created techniques of creation, may be the only hand made fractal stellated dodecahedron.

THE STELLATED DODECAHEDRON IS ESSENTIALLY AN UPWARDS AND DOWNWARDS CONE INTERCONNECTING.

THIS CONE IS ACTUALLY CALLED A PENTAGONAL PYRAMID, AS THE BASE OF THE PYRAMID IS A PENTAGON.

AS A TIPI IS MADE FROM A SEMI CIRCLE (HALF A CIRCLE), THE PENTAGONAL PYRAMID FITS PERFECTLY (IS INSCRIBED) IN A HALF CIRCLE.

THE STAR TETRAHEDRON IS ALSO ESSENTIALLY AN UPWARDS AND DOWNWARDS TIPI INTERCONNECTING.

THIS CONE IS ACTUALLY A TRIANGLE BASED PYRAMID, AND, IF UNFOLDED, ALSO FITS IN SEMI CIRCLE.

THE DIFFERENCE IS, ONE CONE'S BASE IS DIVIDED INTO THREE EQUAL PARTS TO MAKE A TETRAHEDRON, AND THE OTHER CONE'S BASE IS DIVIDED INTO FIVE EQUAL PARTS TO MAKE A PENTAGONAL PYRAMID.

THE STAR TETRAHEDRON AND THE STELLATED DODECAHEDRON BOTH LOOK LIKE A HEXAGRAM (SIX POINTED STAR).

THIS IS BECAUSE BOTH ARE MADE OUT OF INTERPENETRATING CONES, WITH BASES DIVIDED DIFFERENTLY.

THE STAR TETRAHEDRON HAS EIGHT CORNERS, AS BOTH THE UP AND DOWN PYRAMIDS HAVE 4 CORNERS EACH.

THE STELLATED DODECAHEDRON HAS TWELVE CORNERS; IT IS MADE OUT OF AN UP AND DOWN PENTAGONAL PYRAMID;

EACH PENTAGON PYRAMID HAS FIVE CORNERS ON THE BASE, AND ONE AT THE TIP; ADDING TO 12.

THE EIGHT CORNERS OF THE STAR TETRAHEDRON ARE LIKE THE NOTES OF THE MUSICAL SCALE.

THE 12 CORNERS OF THE STELLATED DODECAHEDRON ARE LIKE THE CHROMATIC SCALE.

THE TWELVE CORNERS OF THE STELLATED DODECAHEDRON ARE THE SAME SHAPE AS THE PENTAGONAL PYRAMID.

THESE TWELVE PENTAGONAL PYRAMIDS ARE CALLED STELLATIONS, LIKE STAR POINTS, WHICH EXTEND FROM THE LINES OF THE DODECAHEDRON.

WHEN THE LINES FROM THE DODECAHEDRON EXTEND, THEY MEET AT THE TIPS OF THE STELLATIONS, FORMING A PENTAGRAM.

THUS THE STELLATED DODECAHEDRON IS MADE OF 12 FIVE POINTED STARS.  BUT THERE ARE ALSO PERFECT EQUILATERAL TRIANGLES IN THERE GIVING IT THE SIX POINTED STAR APPEARANCE

AS THE BIG UPWARD PENTAGONAL PYRAMID CAN FIT ANOTHER PENTAGONAL PYRAMID DOWNWARDS BECOMING A STELLATED DODECAHEDRON,

SO CAN EACH STELLATION BECOME A MINI VERSION OF THE BIG ONES, BECOMING A MINI STELLATED DODECAHEDRON.

THIS IS LIKE EACH BRANCH OF A STAR BECOMING IT'S OWN STAR, ONE STAR MADE OUT OF MANY SMALLER STARS.

THIS COULD THEORETICALLY BE DONE TO THE STELLATIONS OF THE 12 MINI STELLATED DODECAHEDRONS,

AND COULD THEORETICALLY COMBINE WITH TWELE OTHERS OF ITSELF TO BECOME A BIGGER VERSION.

BOTH THE MINI VERSION, AND THE CONGLOMERATE (PUT TOGETHER) BIG ONES WOULD HAVE THE SAME ARAINGMENT AS THE ORIGINAL TWO INTERPENETRATING PENTAGONAL PYRAMID CONES.

THE ONLY QUIRK IS: THERE IS A 13TH DISTINCT STAR IN THE CENTER, SLIGHTLY SMALLER THAN THE REST.

THIS 13TH STAR IS MADE FROM EXTENSIONS FROM THE OUTER TWELVE STARS, AND CONNECTS THEIR LINES.
